This article offers a glimpse into the struggles of Millennials who feel "behind" compared to the financial stability their parents achieved. It's a quick and insightful read.
I chose this piece to highlight how Millennial and Gen Z women are learning to pivot mentally amidst current cultural and financial pressures. Yes, we're in a cost-of-living crisis, and yes, it's reshaping how we interact with the world, but we don't have to stay stuck in a "I'm behind" victim mindset.
Our generation has unprecedented access to global information, connections, and education, positioning us to navigate these challenges in ways our parents couldn't. We're also on the brink of the largest wealth transfer in history, set to occur within the next six years. I'll share more on this this soon.
What we need now is a solid home foundation—focusing on health, wellness, finances, routines, and organization—to avoid the traps that society suggests we’re destined to fall into.
When life pulls you in multiple directions, the key is to adapt quickly and keep moving forward. Instead of focusing on what you couldn't finish, celebrate what you did accomplish, even if it's just one small task. By mentally pivoting and shifting your focus as needed, you can maintain momentum and avoid getting stuck in frustration. Remember, progress is progress, no matter how small. Give yourself grace, stay flexible, and keep your eyes on the bigger picture.
